Zinaida Yevgenyevna Serebriakova (1884–1967) was a Russian and Soviet painter celebrated for her portraits, landscapes, and genre scenes that combined traditional techniques with a modern sensibility. Born into a family of artists, she demonstrated early talent and received formal training in art.

Serebriakova's work is characterized by a mastery of form and color, reflecting her academic training and exposure to various art movements. She was associated with the Russian Mir Iskusstva (World of Art) movement, which aimed to revitalize Russian art by embracing both traditional and modern influences.
