Agnes Slott-Møller was a Danish painter associated with the Symbolist movement and one of the notable female artists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Born on January 5, 1862, in Copenhagen, Denmark, Slott-Møller played a significant role in challenging gender norms within the art world of her time.

Agnes Slott-Møller received her artistic training at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where she studied under the influential Danish painter Peder Severin Krøyer.
