Mary Lizzie Macomber (1861–1916) was an American painter known for her landscapes, portraits, and genre scenes during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, Macomber demonstrated an early interest in art and went on to pursue formal training at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Macomber's artistic career unfolded during a time when American art was experiencing a shift towards more diverse styles and subject matter.
