Kitty Lange Kielland (8 October 1843 – 1 October 1914) was a Norwegian landscape painter who played a pivotal role in shaping the development of Norwegian art. Born into a prominent family in Stavanger, Norway, Kielland displayed an early aptitude for art and received encouragement from her family to pursue her artistic aspirations.

Kielland received her formal art training in Munich, where she studied under the renowned Norwegian painter Hans Gude.
