James McIntosh Patrick (1907–1998) was a Scottish artist celebrated for his remarkable contributions to 20th-century Scottish art. Born in Dundee, Scotland, Patrick displayed artistic talent from an early age. He studied at the Glasgow School of Art, where he was influenced by the Scottish Colourists and the broader modernist movements of the time.Patrick's artistic career was marked by a dedication to capturing the landscapes, people, and industry of his native Scotland.
