Gerhard Munthe (1849–1929) was a Norwegian painter, illustrator, and decorative artist known for his contributions to the Arts and Crafts movement. He played a pivotal role in the revitalization of traditional Norwegian art and design during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Munthe, along with his brother, the writer and illustrator Jørgen Munthe, and the playwright Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson, became key figures in this cultural revival.
