Georgy Kurasov (born 1958) is a Russian painter known for his vibrant and colorful landscapes, often depicting the rugged coastline, charming villages, and tranquil countryside of his native country. He was born and raised in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), and his early artistic influences include the works of the Russian Impressionists and Post-Impressionists, as well as the Fauves and Expressionists.
