Biography
Karl Harald Alfred Broge (6 May 1870 – 8 March 1955) was a Danish landscape painter, known for his detailed and atmospheric depictions of the Danish countryside. Born in Copenhagen, Broge studied at the Kunstakademiets Kunstskole from 1889 to 1891, where he was influenced by the work of Holger Grønvold and Rudolf Bissen.

Broge's paintings are characterized by their use of soft, muted colors and their attention to detail. He often painted scenes of farms, forests, and the seashore, capturing the beauty of the Danish landscape in all its variety. His work has been praised for its realism and its ability to convey the mood and atmosphere of a place.

Broge exhibited his work regularly at the Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition and the Kunstnernes Frie Udstilling. He was also a member of the Grønningen and Corner groups of artists.
